A Stunning Antique Enameled Locket Necklace, Vintage Art Deco circa 1920s. This fabulous locket is from the Art Deco Era, circa 1920-30's and is composed of black enamel and accented with marcasite for that touch of contrasting sparkle. The stepped geometric design paired with the stylized leaves is such an Art Deco stylistic characteristic. The locket is quite substantial and measures about 1 3/4 inch in diameter and opens to reveal places to put photos or keepsakes. The pendant is suspended from the original chain that measures about 24 inches in length and closes with original 1920's era catch. A wonderful and rare find.
