A Superb Antique Diamond Ring, Vintage Art Deco White Gold Filigree, circa 1920. The setting is original Art Deco period filigree openwork composed of 14K white gold. The setting incorporates butterflies on the sides, a favorite of French designers of the day and is in beautiful condition. The center holds a genuine white diamond set in more filigree which is set in genuine rock crystal. There are four antique emerald cut Emeralds (most likely lab stones as was popular at the time) giving it even more of that wonderful 1920's Art Deco style. The entire ring measures about 3/4 inch long by about 3/4 inch wide and is in beautiful estate condition. There are some nicks to the emerald stones, but they are stable and noticeable upon close inspection. An outstanding example of original rare Art Deco period jewelry.
