A Gorgeous Antique Amethyst Ring, Vintage Art Deco Set in Ornate White Gold Filigree, circa 1920's. The center of this superb original antique period ring holds a stunning quality amethyst gemstone measuring about 16 x 12.5 mm oval and estimated at about 7 1/2 carats in gem weight. The amethyst gemstone has rich saturated color and lots of sparkle and life that you simply cannot see in still photos. The setting is magnificent original Art Deco period with ornate detailing and fine filigree openwork. The setting is composed of white gold. Overall the ring measures about 11/16 inch long by about 3/4 inch wide from side to side. Ring Size: about 5 1/2 to 6 (could be resized by your jeweler if needed or ask me about using mine before shipping). This ring was acquired through an estate collection and is in lovely vintage condition.
